We are still waiting for a break in the weather here. Our spring break and following days were cold and rainy so that was a bit disappointing for me and the kids. It was hard to go back to school but I think the kids were thrilled to get back to their friends. I'm still trudging along at school myself. I'm having a hard time really getting into it this semester but I am still doing it, still getting A's. I have a goal and I will get there. I think right now we all need a break from the monatony (I know I do) and are looking forward to our Disney trip and some camping trips we have planned this summer. Jeff has been gone most weeks recently so I am anxious for him to have some time off so we can all just relax and be together. We have two more weeks coming up with him gone to training and after that things should slow down. He is working hard and is exhausted and he deserves some time off. The kids started soccer this week and somehow I ended up coaching Jack's team. It's going pretty well though and they both love it. Last time we did outdoor soccer it was kind of a waste of our time but it is nice now that they are older they really enjoy going. We are going to try real tee-ball this year too so it should be interesting!
For those of you who call and email to check on our family, I wanted to let you know that we are all doing fairly well. Some days are easier than others and there are days when emotions can creep up without warning (as I prove quite often:), but we are all going day to day. I talk to Joel and the kids often and though we all miss Veronica terribly, we are all dealing in our own way. I thank you for your continued support and prayers for all of us.

My very own GI Joe. I told him it was too bad he didn't shoot better that day but he sure looks good....ha, ha.

Molly Jean at her first soccer game. It was really windy and cold but they both hung in there on a day that started at 8:30 am. She counted the number of times she kicked the ball:)
Jack and Coach Mommy after his game. He played really well and is showing that he really likes this sport.
That's Jack bringing the ball into the goal. He kept count and said he got six goals that day. He was great.

They love to play together at everything. Here they are doing games on Nick Jr. I'm so grateful that they are friends.
