Disney Overload
Who knew that planning a trip to Disney would be so involved? I'm glad that Veronica and Joel are Disney experts! We would have gone down there with no plan and just wandered. There is just so much to see, planning most things in advance seems the way to go. Then there are the family t-shirts to order, meal reservations, and dog sitting to plan for too. We've been so wrapped in finalizing plans for Disney in OCTOBER that we really haven't done much planning for our trip to Wisconsin in JULY (the 10th to be exact). Somehow, I imagine this trip to involve more relaxing and visiting than the amusement park atmosphere. We are very excited to see Jeff's family and Jeff asks me every day, "how many more days?" We have a list of what we are taking, maps from Chicago to Walmart Supercenter, to the Wilderness Resort. I think putting it all together will be the last step. I'm hoping the kids will be over their colds by then. Molly has her first bad one and she is not happy! We (actually I) are planning a Fourth of July BBQ for us and a couple of other families. I am going to be making my grandpa's famous Carne Asada and other mexican staples. The kids will be able to play in the pool while we all stuff ourselves with food and cold beer. Can't ask for much more than that can you? Well, actually you could ask to be spending the fourth with our families but our "family" here will do the trick.
