Trick or Treat

Happy Halloween! What a fun night. We did the "trunk or treat" at the church again this year where they decorate their trunks and hand out candy. Jack and Molly were adorable in their Incredibles costumes and Jeff and I did a little dressing up. We got so much attention, especially Molly with her "jack-jack" spike. We had company for a big mexican dinner before hand and headed to the church for face painting, balloon clowns, and moon bounces. They had other activities too but we stuck with those. Jack cracked me up when we started because he didn't know what we were doing and wasn't interested until I DRAGGED him over to a car and said "trick or treat." As soon as he saw that candy drop in he was hooked. He was running from car to car saying "trick or treat" and "thanks, see you later." He was super, super funny. Grant it ,we aren't big candy eaters but he loves suckers and he knows exactly which kind he likes. He and Molly had their first twizzler before bed and both went down happy and pooped out...now if I could just get that black paint off their faces......

Yes, yes I know I haven't done anything with the site in some time. It's finally updated and has loads of pictures for you all to see. As you will notice, we have been quite busy the last couple of months and with Halloween in a week, I'm still plugging away at projects. I have some costumes to finish up, two harvest parties this week, and we are having company on Halloween itself before we go trick or treating. Our adopted grandfather (next door) is having surgery on Wednesday so I am planning a meal for them too. Jack and Molly both have their first colds of the season so our house has been full of grumpiness. Anyway, we had a fun trip to Disneyworld and a great time celebrating Molly's first birthday. Jack is potty trained and Molly is taking steps and I am sure if I blink she'll be running across the room. We just sent Grammie (Tami's mom) home from a nice visit. Jack has had a hard time adjusting to her leaving. He asks for her at least once a day. The weather is turning quite cool here so I gave in and turned the heat on. Fall and Spring are usually so great because you can open the windows and not have to pay extra electricity. It's just too cool this week for that. Well, it has been a long night messing with the site and I am pooped so I am headed off to bed. Love to all......
