Happy Thanksgiving!
Santa arrives at the puppet show!
Happy Thanksgiving ! We had a nice holiday here and ate way too much food! We have so much to be thankful for this year that Thanksgiving was extra special. We spent Thursday afternoon and Friday decorating for Christmas and getting into the spirit. I braved the black Friday crowds to pick up a few special gifts to help out Santa. I stood in line at target from 430 to 600 am and it was COLD. I did accomplish my mission and saved 50 bucks on one item so I guess it was worth it. On Saturday, I threw a Polar Express party for the kids to help "kick off" the Christmas season. It was so much fun. I mailed out gold train tickets and we had a puppet show, craft, and of course watched the movie. The kids got lots of popcorn and goodies and I think everyone had a great time. It is so much fun, as a mom, to see how excited and how much joy comes to my kids from little things like this. A Christmas movie in their PJs made them so happy that I imagine they'll be asking for it again next year. I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving too and that you might find joy in in some of the "little things" this holiday too.
