Chiefs Fans and Silver Dollar City

My little Chiefs cheerleader. She was having a lot of fun running around in her outfit.

"I'm a model, you know what I mean....." This kid is such a poser.

We went to Silver Dollar City for the "Old time Christmas" celebration. The kids loved the lights but what they loved even more were the corn dogs!

This was our second trip to see santa and the first time they would sit on his lap. Jack actually told Santa what he wanted for Christmas and Molly did too, just very quietly!

House hunting and Holiday fun!

Things are busy here. Jeff is lining up work and at the same time we having been struggling with our housing options. After 3 weeks of house hunting and not finding what we wanted we've decided to build our house so that we get all that we want. We are very excited and hope it all works out as planned! We are enjoying our time with Jeff because we know how busy he'll be when he starts working again. We've joined the gym and the library and are looking forward to a trip to Bass Pro and Silver Dollar City to see the Christmas lights. It should be great fun!

This is what it was like two a day after we got here. Jeff had to run out and buy Jack snowboots because he didn't have any. It took over a week for it to melt off.

Playing Santa with Molly. She was so funny kissing and giggling and saying "Kiss me mama Santa!"

Molly with her blow up Mickey for the front yard. We saw this and of course had to buy it!

We were waiting for the Springfield Christmas parade to start. It was our first parade and I think the kids loved it!

Made it to Missouri

Well...we made it to Missouri. It was a pretty good trip, but we did have to cut it to two days instead of three due to the big storm blowing in. The kids did pretty well as you can see from this picture of Jack playing in his seat. The second day was harder because they caught onto the staying in the car for hours on end but we made it with no major upsets.

Molly on the Metro when we went to Washington D. C. before we left.

We really wanted to see the WWII Memorial before we moved so we made a trip down to DC at the last minute.

Here are the kids wearing the Thanksgiving craft we made.

While in DC we went to the Smithsonian to see the dinosaur bones. The kids were amazed by this T-rex skull.
