Starting to look like a house.

Okay, so I know you are probably sick of the whole "house" thing but since we are so excited to finally have something DONE, I had to share that we finally have basement walls and are getting our foundation this week (pray for NO RAIN--in fact a good dry spell would help us along). The kids enjoyed actually seeing something there since I have driven them out there many times just to see dirt....I said "look, they are building our house," and they proceeded to pick up rocks and start chucking them into the trench around the concrete. At that moment I realized how nice it must be to not really know what is going on and just be able to get excited about a pit to throw rocks into. I think we could all take a lesson out of that book. I'll try to remember that next time it rains for three days in a row. Below is a picture from the Easter egg hunt we went to on Saturday. The kids had a great time and of course were thrilled with all the candy!
