It's a bird, it's a plane, it's a HOUSE?????

A major hurdle was overcome when Chico (that's my brother) was able to pour the basement floor of our house. He had one day in a week of rain to get it done. It was FREEZING and windy and I had to keep the kids in the car to watch him do it. It was fun and PAINFUL to watch. I'm really not sure how those concrete guys do it. Talk about physical labor!















Shortly thereafter (after several more days of rain) they were able to start framing the basement. It is just about done and they can start the top floor. It is really exciting now to see that we actually have a shape and rooms framed out. We were even more thrilled when we drove out to see it on Saturday and the workers were still there working.
