Rain Rain go away

UGhhhhh, it will NOT stop raining! It has been raining downpours here since Thursday (it is Tuesday). Storming again last night, we are lucky our basement is staying dry. We've had a week of rain here before but not like this. It is monsoon type rain. We have roads closed where the marshes have come up over the road. Anyway, it is not fun because the kids have cabin fever and Jack is driving me nuts with wanting to go swimming or just go outside. Even when I take him to the door and show him that it is pouring he still says "Go outside?" The forecast calls for rain through Thursday but I hope it lets up a little sooner. I'm not sure how much more I can take. The only 'good' thing is it is a warm rain, so I don't have to worry so much about staying under the umbrella---nearly impossible with Jack, Molly, and a diaper bag!!
