Big Day

Well, it is a big day for us here. Jeff put in his paperwork to get out of the Army next year. He's giving them plenty of time to approve it. If all goes well, he will be out of the Army on January 23, 2007. It sounds crazy but we are very excited. Excited to move home, stabilize our family, and make sure we are all together without the threat of deployment. People have asked us about being willing to give up the definate (and pretty decent) paycheck for the unknown. We've decided that there are more important things than money. We know we can always get by and if we have to just "get by" to keep our family together then so be it. When I look at the two tiny faces in my house I know I never want to explain why daddy isn't coming home for 6-12 months or god forbid, not at all. This is definately the best choice for us even though we are nervous about joining the "civilian" world. What will we ever do paying full price for groceries? Yikes, that's the scariest part for me---ha, ha!
